Warm Meals for 500 Veterans This Winter is more than a headline — it's a real story unfolding in San Diego, CA. When Homefront Meals first reached out to our team, the need was already urgent, and the community was already showing up. This page is where that momentum lives.
Home-cooked meals delivered weekly to homebound veterans in our community. Behind every dollar raised is a plan: rent kept current, treatments started on time, supplies stocked, volunteers coordinated, and small moments of dignity restored. Nothing here is abstract — every contribution translates into something concrete this month.
We're being deliberate about how funds are used. Roughly 60% goes directly to the people and services at the center of this campaign. Around 25% covers immediate operational costs — transportation, materials, professional support. The remaining 15% is held as a buffer for the unexpected, because there is always something unexpected.
If you can give, thank you. If you can't give, sharing this page with three people you trust genuinely helps — most of the donors on this campaign found it through a friend, not an ad. We read every message left with a donation, and so does Homefront Meals.
Updates will be posted here as milestones are reached. From all of us — thank you for caring enough to read this far.
